Default Comments About Forward Cabins on Mariner of the Seas Please!

Thank you to everyone who answered my question about internet access on Mariner of the Seas. We have booked the cruise because of the encouragement you gave that I will be able to work as I must each day and my daughter and I are going to try to be among the first in line to board so I can get the equipment for the cyber cabin hookup. The balcony cabin we were assigned to is 6520 which is forward. Is anyone familiar with this area? And could you comment as to if there any disadvantages to a foward cabin, I am wondering because I keep reading posts that rave about the aft cabins. Thanks again all!

We had a forward cabin recently on the Vision on deck 7. It was very nice and very quiet - little or no hall traffic. Based on that experience, we have booked a forward cabin on Navigator for next summer on deck 9.

We've been on the mariner 4 times all recently and have had cabins in the forward section of deck 6. You will have no complaints as to the ship making noise but please remember, the Mariner is a moving ship and you may hear slight creaks as it moves through the ocean. I feel though that your experience will be a pleasent one. Happy sailing.
