Default Royal Caribbean Waffle Robe From Gifts and Gear

Has anyone ever ordered any of the "Waffle" robes from Royal Caribbean's "Gifts and Gear" section of the website? The Waffle robe is on sale for $19.99. The robe next up in value is the Terry robe for $49.99.
If anyone has any opinions good or bad about these Waffle robes, I'll like to hear from you. Thanks!

Jeff

If the waffle robes they are selling are the same ones they give you onboard to use, I MUCH prefer them to the heavy terrycloth robes! $19.99 would be a good deal on one of those robes. I may go check that deal out! It's possible they are selling those lightweight cotton waffle robes though. While still nice, they are not worth much more than $20 to begin with, but would be fun to own if they have the RCCL logo on them. Either way, $20 for a logo robe is still a reasonable deal.

Okay, I just went to the "Gifts and Gear" to check out the robe. I believe it looks like it's the same robe they've given me in my cabin on the last few cruises. I really like those robes. The are not huge and bulky like the old terrycloth ones they use to put in the cabins. I don't like a big, bulky robe but the waffle ones are great in my opinion.

I actually used the robe they provided in our cabin, I really liked the lighter one over a heavy terry cloth one.

O.K. who gets the commission? I have ordered 2 of them! One for me and one for my sweet DIL! I remember them well from my cruise, also.

I wondered about the bulkiness of the terrycloth robes. Sounds like the waffle robe wins out! Thanks everyone for your input!

I ordered the waffle robes for my hubby and I in 2002 and yes they are very light and very well made. We love them. My sister in law even used her fancy new sewing machine and matched the RCI thread and sewed our names on them for us.

Okay! Everyone please send all commissions to me! :o
Just kidding! I just ordered two robes myself! The Crown and Anchor section of Gifts and Gear has the uber-expensive "luxury" robes with the Crown and Anchor logo for $75 a piece! I'd rather spend that kind of money toward a spa treatment or shore excursion!
