Default Casino age

Hi all,

Was wondering, if you have a 17 year old (short of being 18 by 2 mos)would that child be allowed in the casino with their parents; not gambling but just there with parents?

How strick are they do they ask for proof of some sort or just tell you to leave? Can you just say you are 18? Again, not there to gamble just there with the parents.

Sorry if this question has been asked before.

Thank you,

on Enchantment of the Seas it seemed to be pretty strick at "peak hours";
if your 17 year old looks 18 or older; my suggestion is look and act like you belong in there and you will probably be okay;
of note; when people are under 21 their sea card is whole punched so the "minors" can be identified right away and won't get served alcohol; I don't believe there is any other indication to determine 18 vs 21.

There IS a difference when it comes to 18-20 year old sea pass cards compare to minors and 21+ year olds: for minors there will be two holes punched in the card, while for 18-21 year old there is only one. on my last cruise they made a mistake on mine and punched 2, i am 18, and i was constantly getting asked for 2 forms of id since they saw the two hole, so yes there is a big difference, i finally got it switched without a problem. when it comes to the casino i was never asked to show id at the tables, only when registering for the blackjack tourney and cashing in, my cousin had the same problem as your kid, and she got away with it especially at the slots, even my 13 year old brother was able to come in and watch at the tables at any time. i would tell your son to try it, if it is alright with you as he might get away with it, another little suggestion is may grow some facial hair as that puts a year or two on
