It is obviously a tad bit slower than just walking down and walking off the ship, but they have it so well orgamized that it's not too bad. I hate tendering because I have a tremendous fear of falling. But it has always been my experience that they staff is very patient and accomodating. It's just me.
Just wanted to know some of the stories of getting off the ship and getting to the tendering boats. does it waste up some of your time at different ports?
Yes, sometimes the lines require you to have tender tickets that call you down at an assigned time to depart. I have waited an hour to get off of the ship. I suppose one could ignore this and just head down to the loading area and see what happens. Cruise line tours have first priority in getting on the tenders.
