Default Navigator Jan 28th,2008 _ Just Booked-Great Deal on Balcony

Hey anyone out there going on the Jan 28th Navigator cruise. It,s going to be cold as s....t in upstate NY then.... Can't wait.. Thus is our 1st time on RCCL. Have always been on Carnival. What am I lookin at?

Are the carry on booze rules as tuff as I hear? What are the differences between Carnival and RCCL.

Thanks alot,

CH

You will enjoy the Navigator. The main street village effect of the center of the ship is a joy to behold. The carry on regs did get tougher recently, so beware.

We just got off the Empress of the Seas to Bermuda and I have a funny story about carrying alcohol on board. I noticed early in the week that our table mates always had a glass of water with them no matter where we saw them and thought wow they must be really healthy and drink lots of water. Good for them. Well, towards the end of the week, I mentioned it to them and they laughed and said.... oh, it's not water, it's wine. It had ice in it so dumb me assumed it was water. Boy, I felt stupid.... Anyway, they said they always bring 4-5 bottles of wine with them on every cruise and never have any problems. I brought a 12 pack of Diet Coke with me this time and no one questioned a thing. I guess if you want to bring it, try it. The worse that can happen is they take it.
