snorkleing in eastern Caribbean?

Hi all , we are going to Antigua ,St. kitts , St. Maarten , Puerto Rico and BVI , which would have the best snorkeling excurtion? on the Grandeur of the Seas in Nov 24th/08

I have snorkelled at St. Maarten.

It was very nice, there was a wrecked sailboat, and lots of beautiful fish.

There is a lot of construction going on on the hill right above where they took us....one cove away from the ships and town area...

There may be prettier places that others would recommend. But, we were happy and satisfied with our experience there.

i didn't go snorkeling in antigua but it is absolutely beautiful there. i would say the snorkeling is just as good.

What beach was that on St Maarten??

We have never had really good snorkeling in St. Maarten except for one time we had some okay snorkeling at Dawn Beach. If the wind is from the wrong way, though, that beach is too rough for snorkeling.

In Antigua, we did Eli's Eco Tour and had some really nice snorkeling and a lot of other good fun. They come highly recommended on another cruise board. http://www.adventureantigua.com/
