you should find a cruise that is in San Juan the same time as yours and check out the excersions for that one to get some ideas. I leave San Juan @ 2 in the afternoon but there was an excursiion for canoeing through a bioluminescent (sorry about spelling) that sounded nice.
I don't understand why RCI docks in San Juan so late. It is a waste of a port day.
Most shops are closed at 1700. You will find the bars and restaurants open - other than that there is not much going on.
SS Norway (12 times) '85 - '97; Radiance OS 06/01; Island Princess 11/04, Grand Princess 11/04/05, Golden Princess 7/21/06, Golden Princess 2/24/07, Explorer of the Seas 12/23/07, Island Princess 11/15/08
Thanks, that is what I thought. I have been there before, but never that late. I generally cruise for the ship and not the ports, so it is not a deal breaker for me, but like you say, why would they even dock there ?
Liberty is docking in San Juan at 3pm I'm staying on the ship. I'm hoping most cruisers will get off this will give me a couple of hours by the pool deck with my book and very few cruisers around! Some relaxing "Me Time"!
