Default Mariner Fantastic!!

Just got back from our first cruise on Sunday-- 7 nites to Labadee- Ocho Rios- Grand Cayman- Couzemel on Marnier (RCCL). iT WAS FANTASTIC!!
We do not have any other cruises to compare it too but hard to believe it could be any better! Of course if we really nit picked i guess we could find little things wrong but why nit pick when 99% of the cruise was great! The service - food-- activities where second to none and the cleaniness of the ship was impeccable for her size. Keep up the good work Royal C.
Now if i can only get my land legs back!!

PS--- Thanks to all the cruisemates on this site who helped before we cruised with all the answers to questions with cruising-- it made our trip that easier.

Yes, but there will be a few months of no 7 nighters out of PC. I am looking at Liberty from Miami for Spring Break.

Congratulation on your successful vacations.
I am going to the same cruise in August, so I have three questions.
1. Do I have to purchase any excursion in Labadee? The recommended excursions offer just different activities at the beach. If all I want to is to stay on beach, should I really buy an excursion?
2. The same applies to Cayman. Is there any advantage in buying an excursion? Is there a particular Cayman excursion you would recommend?
3. In Jamaica I want to see the waterfalls. Which of the waterfalls trips would you recommend?

Thank you
Cezar Mart

Somehow, I just knew you'd enjoy Mariner, great ship to cruise on for a first, although, it will be hard to compare to that, unless you try the "Freedom" class. Just great for cruising with the friends/kids and family. All around I enjoy Royal Caribbean the best, its just a good fit for me.

Glad to hear that you had a wonderful time! We will be going out on Mariner in October. (First time cruising Royal Caribbean) How were the shows and what type of room did you have? Was it fairly easy getting around on the ship?
