Default Coke???

Does anybody know if you can bring your own soda on-board? I don't want to do the soda card, it's a rip off. If you can, does anybody know the limit?

Yes you can bring non alcoholic drinks onboard. We brought 2 cases of water and a case of diet coke with us last year. Just don't show up at check in with a hand truck full of soda or water and they won't hassle you.

BTW the refrigerators are thermo electric which means that they won't get real cold, more like a cooler...

I normally stop at convience store prior to boarding ship and bring a 6pack of coke. When I stop in ports I find a convience store and pick up another six pack. That way I'm not lugging a case with me; thats too bulky for me to carry. Since I arrive by airplane don't have luxury of having a car to put extra goodies in

I called RC and they said absolutely not. So, I'm going to put them in our suitcase. I'm not paying 3.00 a can! Thanks for the advice, going on tomorrow!

As I understand it - you can bring some soda (& bottled water) onboard - especially if
you like another brand - many cruisers do this everyday. Of course, RCCL will tell you "No" - they want you to buy their stuff. I certainly will be doing this next Jan when we cruise to South America. A 6-pack or two
shouldn't be an issue. You need to carry it on though - DO NOT check it
or you will have a mess !
