I'd like to know, obviously I no clue and anything you write is appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to Cruisemates. Pretty general question. Cruise the site for great information. I have reviews of the cruises I've done on my blog. Link is below.

My best tips, bring a power strip for all your plug ins, and, a green garbage bag for the dirty clothes in the closet, then pack it to go home...

Go to cruise reviews by the readers.Just remember to read at least 5 different reviews and ignore the small complaints as we have never found a bad cruise, they are all great. Each cruise has the potential to have something not perfect but all in all you will be amazed.
Bon Voyage
My best tip is bring an empty stomach lol

My best advice is to ignore the little nitpicks people write in their reviews and go into your trip with an open mind. Cruising is an awesome experience. Enjoy it! We have gone to resorts and we like cruising much more. It's awesome waking up in a new place every day. Do lots of research on your ports of call. My best moments cruising are at the best beaches in different ports of call soaking up the sun and having a nice tropical drink. Have a great time.

In my area, green garbage bags are the large size, white ones are small , hence my description.....with what I pack, I need the large.....aren't they the same near you?

My best cruise moment was on our Carnival Inspiration cruise that docked in Costa Maya.

We learned thru the board that the kids there needed school supplies so we packed up 2 backpacks full of them (along with some goodies like candy for the kids) and picked up a taxi at the pier to the HS. There they learn English and we sat with them and they were required to say their names, where they were from, and what they liked to do in English. It was very neat.

Then from there we walked to the kindergarton and played with the little kids. My husband has video of that and watching it brings back such great memories. I can remember the kids singing the Barney song to us in Spanish...I had tears in my eyes. The kids would hug us saying "Gracias" and they thought a lollipop was a million bucks. Our 10 yr old daugther played with them and colored with them. At that time the kindergarton was a small shack without electricity. They got electricity from the neighbors home next door by a long cord. At that time (2003) they were building a new kindergarton so I'm sure they are there now.

It was the best experience in the whole world!!! I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Not sure if they accept people still but it was amazing.

I think the best advise we got was taking an over the door shoe rack to put all our bathroom stuff in. helped us stay organized.

inspired by truth,
The best advice I can offer is that you set aside 30 - 45 minutes each day to search Cruisemates.Com Pick a search term or topic, i.e. "tips" - you may get anything from great ideas as to what to tip your waiters and cabin steward; "food", "embarkation", "dancing", etc. You can choose to search the entire MB or pick a forum that interests you, i.e. Royal Caribbean International which is the forum you are in now!. After you have done it a few times you will become a pro at searching out the latest and greatest information.
A great number of people contribute their opinions here. Enjoy! 8)

BTW..... My favorite moment is onboard, at sea, at sunset recalling the day and anticipating the evening!
