Default Will RCCL ever sail the Southern Caribbean from FLL

It would be wonderful if RCCL would do the southern caribbean from FLL.

Then there would be no hassles and frustrations sailing from San Juan.

Does anyone in the know - know? I really want to cruise the southern caribbean, but at this moment, Holland America comes to mind when thinking about what leaves from FLL. That would be the same as a cruise to "watch the grass grow" I am old, (63), but not dead!

Many years ago, I think we were on the Granduer, RCL did sail 10 days Southern from Miami. We stopped in Aruba etc. on that cruise and really did like it. I don't know why they stopped that particular cruise. It does have to be a 10 day cruise though.

We have sailed out of Puerto Rico a couple of times and, although we didn't mind it, I too would prefer to sail from Miami and do a Southern Cruise.
Dec. 13 - Windstar sailing yacht. Wonderful!!

Just completed - Celebrity Reflection, Nov. 22 (learning to sail solo) followed by Independence of the Seas Nov. 30.

44 cruises - too many to list however cruiselines are in no particular order:

and some unknown tub

Yes, I'm a Royal Chump and proud of it.

I whole heartedly agree. I wish there were cruises to southern Caribbean from a Florida port.

Default Southern Caribbean from FLL

How about Celebrity out of Miami? We're booked on a 14-night cruise on the Constellation leaving Miami on 1-31-10. Check out the "X" website for details. It has a nice itinerary.

Southern would be nice from FL. Instead of having two biggies Oasis and Allure both doing East and West one of them should do a 10 nite Southern from FL. They do have alot of ships doing East and West from FL in the winter when ships are done with Europe and Alaska.

The Explorer OTS does 12-14 night Southern Caribbean cruises from Cape Liberty NJ however they do not run year round (I think only in the fall and spring, not sure though) The same catagory of ship as the Adventure and alot closer port than Puerto Rico. I think it goes to Barbados instead of Aruba but still a great looking cruise to be on.

I saw the itinerary. There are no less than four days at sea. The ports are limited and it is more than a seven day cruise.

That is why it would be great for a 9-10 day from FLL.
