Dining Room Question

Anyone know ( I forgot) what the available table sizes are in RCCL dining rooms? I remember 2 and 8 but seem to recall that they also have 4, 6, 10, and 12. But I can't be sure. Anyone remember?

I kind of thought that might be the case. Now all we have to do is wait to go. 96 days and it's 'hello Oasis'. Should be fun and I've never been to Labadee.

You'll have fun, don't bank too much on Labadee.. Very small.. very small island that they didn't let us leave. The cool thing about Labadee to me was the fact that at the beach it seemed like the ship was right at the tip of our toes in the water.

Yeah, I don't have my hopes too high. I'm more interested in it as a beach stop which we like. I thought it would be cool to see the ship offshore also but I'm told we will be the innaugural cruise using the new dock they are building so I may miss that. But since it's only a 4day and Labadee is the only stop, I'll check it out. Thanks.

A shot I took from the beach (top of the beach). I think this was the Mariner in 2008. Off to the right is a small rock hill and there used to be some old buildings over there too. There are some steps you can walk up or you can climb. It's a very easy climb and there's a trail. From the rock hill you can get some great shots of the ship without obstruction.

Labadee was awesome as a beach stop just be advised there are two sides to the beach. The beach in EMG's picture, nice by the way, is on the bayside which was very nice with smooth sand into the water. On the oceanside, pictured below under the zipline, the beach is very nice. The water is very nice, but the bottom under water is nothing but rocks and busted up coral. Dont do like me and go off running into the water not knowing this and finding out the hard way. Also dont miss the BBQ.

I just ordered aquaduck daytona water shoes because I've heard about the rough floor at Labadee... now thanks to you I know which area is rough and which is not! Thank you once again : )

CQ, yes just beore doing the Dragons Breath zipline up there on the platform. What great views of the entire port.

ok, that picture pulled me in so I have to ask. How much do they hit you up for that zipline? I want to try to one on Oasis just for the view but this one looks like way more fun. Is it worth the money though?

I think it was like 85.00 per person. As far as was it worth the money Ill say yes. We had never done an zipline before as the locations were not that appealing. After seeing where this zipline was and since it was billed as the longest one in the world I figured why not. The view from the top was awesome but it was over all too fast. These pictures were taken from the top of the mountain at the zipline platform.

I can't bring myself to part with $85 for a 30 second thrill.
Maybe if they let you do it several times for the price... but one time
seems crazy steep to me.

Thanks to the Dragon's Breath I'm now a zipline addict. :o

The weight limit is 250 lbs. however the day we were there it was windy and they dropped the limit to 200 lbs. There were many people that were turned down and had to get a refund and were disappointed. One guy stepped on the scale and was 203. What a bummer for 3 pounds he was not allowed to zip.

Like you say Its not cheap but I figured hey Im here and wont be back for awile so why not. Im pretty adventureous and always up for a thrill ride but the wife is not. She went with me reluctantly and ended up having an awesome time. That alone is worth the 170.

I agree it is way overpriced but I knew that when I booked it and went for it anyway. You have to do the small zip line first so you really get two rides.

My DW shot video while going down the zip line. One day I'll have my computer savvy friend come over and show me how to post photos and videos and cool graphics and countdown clocks.
