Default Tender timing in Belize City

We will be sailing on the Enchantment arriving in Belize City October 1st. We are planning on visiting our son who lives just north of san pedro ambergris caye, to do this we will be flying out of Belize City to san pedro , water taxi etc. What time does the first tender boat leave the ship and what time does it arrive at the dock, thanks much

Hi Dive,
Thats a tough one to call. Usually the first people on the tenders are the ones with excursions booked through the cruiseline. After those get ashore, then they let the rest get in line for the next tenders. I would allow plenty of time to get ashore and plan accordingly. I've noticed while cruising, the ships are almost always on time and sometimes even early.

Best of luck and have a great time.

Hi Divedad,
Nope, it usually doesn't, but it doesn't hurt to ask. The tender ride is also a fairly long ride. I've heard that they plan to actually build a pier, that would be so nice.

travel time leaving the ship . . . .if you get the fast speedboats about 12-15 minutes - if the large tender, at least 30 minutes

helps to make friends with the cruise staff who are handling the tender lines to maybe slip out first call
