Best cruise ship in RC line right now.

I want to take my next cruise in the next 1 or 2 years, and I want to take my kids and wife on the most advanced, coolest ship out there. Anyone have any advice? I want cool features for the kids and high quality for us.

Allure of the Seas or Oasis of the Seas.

These are Royal Caribbean's newest and largest ships. Over 200,000 grt they offer everything from their own on board neighborhoods, water shows, Dreamworks character shows, multiple restaurants and a myriad more activities.

There is a lot of talk about these ships on the boards. Just do a search and you will find a lot of information.

Take care,
Mike

I agree with Mike.

And I might add that the Oasis was the best ship that I ever cruised on.

I will be on the Allure on jan. 16th.

your kids will surely enjoy either Oasis or Allure; if price is a factor then look at the Freedom class ships; most notably Freedom of the Seas; not as big as Oasis or Allure; but still will provide a lot to do and deliver a wow factor. Freedom will be a lot cheaper than Oasis or Allure.

Would it be fair to say that the newest ship of any cruise line will usually have their best employees from other ships come over. Thereby, you'll pretty much have the "all-star" cast of crews for the first few months at least?

I have to agree with the previous posters, have heard great reviews on Allure of the Seas. These newer ships have lots more activities for kids and families.

Keep in mind we do have a group Cruisemates cruise on Allure of the Seas next Oct 2, 1011 if that date works. For some strange reason, the prices we got on this cruise were less than the same time frame on Oasis, go figure?
