"Cats" Coming To Oasis Of The Seas

The Broadway hit "Cats" will be coming to the Oasis Of The Seas after it's drydock this fall. It will replace "Hairspray".

I'll pass on Cats when I'm on Oasis again. :) I'm sure the singers and dancers will be awesome but not my type of show.:-P

Really? Why??? I've seen it a few times and loved it. Living in NY for a spell, it was a classic and am so glad I did!

Just not my thing...that's all. I saw on broadway Les Miserables years ago and walked out after half hour. LOL

There are very limited broadway shows that I would like. I will see Mama Mia on Quantum...But I love the music of Abba! :-P:p8-)

I myself am not big on Broadway musicals. Fell asleep during Chicago on Allure; I would much rather see groups like, America, Chicago, Doobie Brothers. That's my kind of music.

I would love to see Cats! I love the music but have never had a chance to see the show!

I prefer NCL over Royal, but I have to admit, Royal seems to do a better job of picking out shows for their ships. I saw Legally Blonde on the Getaway. It was OK, but no great music like the songs in Phantom or Cats for instance. NCL chose Rock of Ages for Breakaway, but it is really not a "family" show due to language and suggestive content, so maybe not the best choice for a cruise ship. I would have probably preferred Hairspray over either of the NCL shows.

I'm sure there is a price tag for the rights to these shows, so is Royal paying a higher tab for the better shows ( and passing that along in the cruise fare )?

I would love to see Cats onboard a cruise ship....
