Just do lots of layers! When the wind comes up it can be pretty chilly fast. That's how it was in July - i can't imagine it would be all that much warmer in August.

I did this tour through HAL Zaandam. We had about 45 minutes at the glacier I would say. We went off and did the walk to the falls - and it is quite a rugged trail - but well worth it! Leave...

I just returned from Alaska and was on the Zaandam which I thought was a truly fantastic ship all the way around. EXCELLENT service! I would suggest July as June seems like it might...

I just did this excursion, and as the comment above states, you get to switch seats and sides and see everything on the way back that you missed. I felt it was kind of long but it was beautiful!!...

I have never seen more jewelry stores in my life than in the ports in Alaska! Lots and lots of Diamonds - especially in Ketchikan and Skagway.

I didn't see anything really special onboard...
