Re: Smoking

GJMSII

I understand your right to smoke, but what about my right to breath. I am severely allergic to smoke and it can send me into an asthma attach if it gets to be too much. That is one of the...

Re: American Bashing

TO ALL

My gripe was about a few Cruising People lumping all Americans as rude, crude and cheap. It stemmed from the tipping issues. One example is a man(?) said he witnessed ALL AMERICANS not...

Re: How safe are some of these ports?

I'd like to add something to people cruising, especially the women. I've mentioned on this sight before that I just booked my first cruise. Not entirely true. It's been over 20 years, but I went on...

Re: YUCK!

Angela,

I agree with you. I was born up north and it is hotter and yuckier air up there. I think because it gets trapped in between all those buildings and just hovers around. Say what you want...

Re: American Bashing

All,

My original gripe about not lumping ALL Americans came moslty in response to the tipping gripes. I just wanted to let you know that it was not meant to be policital but about cruising. ...

Can't help you with the hotel info, but can give you a tip about some of the famous food from Philly. If you get the chance, try the pretzels with mustard on it, a true-philly cheese...

Re: American Bashing

My apologies to everyone. I didn't mean to make this a big world wide thing. I was just mad that a few (hint - I said a few) of the non-Americans on the board lumped ALL Americans together. I just...

Re: American Bashing

BobBeaSea,

I agree with you, the French and Canadian took a lot of bashing. The part that upset me is a few on this board lumped ALL of us together. I wouldn't do that anymore than saying all...

Forgot to add, that I can't tell the difference between most Canadian "accents??" and an American unless they happen to be from a heavily French Speaking area.
