Our arrangement with Marcello Marseca is for 400 euros for our group of six plus and additional 100 for a local guide for a 2 hour Pompeii tour. Split six ways, we feel those prices are acceptable.

I believe the key to Alaska is making Alaska the priority not the ship. There is no quesiton in my mind that for Alaska you plan what you want to see first and then take whatever ship comes closest...
