Re: New Year's Eve on board?

We were on the Carnival Paradise for New Years Eve a few years back with teenaged kids and other family. The party was outside, lots of dancing, party favours were provided, free chamagne (one...

Re: All inclusives in Mexico?

I found the best advice regarding hotels is on tripadvisors.com. (OK hope this thread goes through) It is a site that lists various hotels and personal reviews by people who have been there. They...

Re: Teenagers

Took my 3 teens on Carnival during winter break two years in a row. No wild parties, no drunken brawls, and ya know what? For a family of 5 I'd just could not justify spending Celebrity rates...

Re: Ship's "SECRET" Cabins

First of all thanks Kuki, great idea. I wish someone would provide help with sorting out cabins, decks. Isnt that the reason we all read these boards in the first place?

On Princess...

Private Idaho
I agree with you. Personally I am looking to see the difference (if any) in the food, service and general feel of the ship. We were able to go to the Mexican Riviera on the...

Mercury Penthouse Deck

We are booked in Cabin 1073 on the Mercury. We have always booked cabins where the decks above and below were also cabins. Unfortunately none were available when we booked this cruise.

Does...

Re: hat?

I too have a cute baseball hat and a straw hat that I take and I recently bought a white cloth one. I put the ones that can get squished in a back pack that I take with me on the plane.

Re: Sunscreen St Thomas St Maarten

My very first cruise I got major burns the very first day. Be very careful the sun is particulary strong on a ship and the slight wind sometimes is deceiving so you dont always feel the intensity of...

Re: Western Caribbean Excursions

Sorry to Amy, but I would absolutely climb the falls if you all are fit or somewhat fit. There are exits on each level if you hate it. Why bother going to Dunns River Falls just to watch others. ...

Re: Nice Beach in St. Thomas

You can get to St John's on your own. No need to a ship excursion and I understand that if you do the ship excursion you only spend a short time at the beach and it costs way too much. I dont...

Re: Nice Beach in St. Thomas

If you place a search on this forum you will find lots of recommendations. Personally I would take the ferry to St JOhns and spend the day at Trunk Bay. It is a gorgeous!!! beach.

Re: Dunn's Falls/aggressive vendors

The Dunns River Falls is really the only thing that is worth seeing in Jamaica. Definitely take water shoes as some of the rocks can be a bit slippery and it is quite a hike to make it all the way...

Re: Stingray City/Sandbar

A group of 9 of us got off the ship, went to the pier and were able to negotiate a wonderful price much lower than the cruise excursion for exactly the same tour. We went over winter break and had...

Not to take this seriously or sound thin skinned or without humour (yes you made me laugh) but just out of curiousity which type of questions are acceptable to you?
