Re: One-night charity cruise on Norwegian Pearl - December 1
Cruising for a charitable contribution deduction - and I thought I was bad cruising for an employee educational expense deduction when I did the University at Sea for Continuing Professional Education. I bow to the master.
Alas, I'm stuck on a non tax deductable Prinsendam cruise. But I have been known to do one day cruises when "speed cruising' over a weekend. Speed cruising being the sport of bagging as much train, car, bus, ship, fixed wing, and rotary wing aircraft travel as you can in a single weekend.

The cost of the cruise is considered a tax deduction because the money is being donated to Rosie O'Donnell's For All Kids Foundation. She and a few other celebrities will be onboard.
NCL is donating the use of the ship and is also advertising that the alcoholic beverages will be included during the duration of the cruise?!&%
I am looking for a female to share the cost of one inside cabin. The cabin probably won't be used for too long since we'll only be on the ship for about 18 hours.
