whatta souvenir!!!!

Everyone who cruises to paradise wants to bring a piece of it back home right?

From magnets, to linens, to whatever faux designer is big at the moment, we all do it..

On one island stop, many of us had a giggle.....this couple was shlepping these

humongous carved figures....They had to stand at least 4 feet tall..They even had their

own seats on the ride back to the ship! We figured they were going to have buy them

plane fare home to boot, but we found out later this couple lived in Florida, and they

would have wthe whole backseat to themselves!!!

What is the most OUTRAGEOUS, the most EXPENSIVE, the most UNFORGET-

ABLE souvenir you have ever brought home?.....Please share!!!

I've seen very similar situations....makes you wonder what folks are thinking. Well so far I haven't brought anything outrageous home. My favorite souvenir is a blanket from Cozumel. I love it. Paid more than I should have, but oh well!!!!!

About 10 years ago on a trip to Cancun, Mexico hubby had to have handcarved marble table lamps. Store made a Mexican Suitcase out of the box they packed them in, complete with handles. The box weighed at least 50 pounds. He hand carried the box all the way home, as carry one luggage. Can't see the airlines allowing that today. They look great in our livingroom still. Sopose will have to die before I will ever get rid of them though.
