I would recommend the swim. We did it in the Bahamas and it was one of the best experiences we ever had. My kids still talk about it and watch the video two years later. The encounter was very little interaction with dolphin and you only got in the water to your knees.

THE SWIM. THEY WILL BE EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE THEY WILL HAVE TO WAIT AND WATCH THE OTHERS SWIM BEFORE THEIR TURN WITH THE ENCOUNTER. OUR DAUGHTER LOVED IT. AT CABO TRY TO HORSEBACK RIDE ON THE BEACH. HORSES ARE VERY SLOW SO IT WILL BE VERY SAFE FOR THEM.
HAVE SO MUCH FUN.
We did the swim in PDC last spring break. More than just petting and kissing dolphins, the "full package" lets you do a foot push and be pulled by the dolphins dorsal fins.
We bought the video, transferred it to DVD, and then I made a vacation video with still photos and this video in it with music - living in Chicago, in another month during the snow and frigid weather, we'll look back and enjoy.
My kids were 8 & 12 then - and they LOVED it. So much so that they brought the DVD to school to show off...
Since you had both your children participating, did you AND your husband have to be in the water with them since they require an adult in the water with the children, or would they allow one adult to cover both your kids???
