We did Dunns River Falls 20 years ago (in our youth!) and had a blast. It's fairly strenuous and can be slippery-water shoes are a good idea. We have great pictures halway up in a pool under a canopy of water. We did it with a group holding hands but I understand they now have ropes to hang onto, which sounds safer than holding on to someone who might fall

Hey debbyedoops-I agree, Dunns Falls is definitely not for your group! An alternative might be rafting down the Martha Brae River. You just sit on a raft-they do all the work. It's very scenic but don't know if this excursion is still available. Twenty years ago we stayed at an all inclusive in Mo Bay and, once outside the confines of the resort, we found the local street vendors to be so aggressive that we were concerned for our safety. We stopped in Ocho Rios 5 years ago on a cruise and ran into the same problem. That said,IMHO Jamaica is the most beautiful island in the Caribbean-and we've been to just about all of them. Enjoy your time there no matter what you decide [/quote]

Debbie--I be "fluffy" too!!! As for Dunn's River, you can go and WATCH the people climb, you do not have to climb yourself. There is a bridge half way in between that can be used for photo shots and watching people come up the falls.

MoBay cruise terminal has shopping inside the terminal, therefore, you need not worry about not getting any shopping in. You can buy woodcrafts, coffee, rum, spices, and other knick knacks too....I spent an hour there and did some dammage!
