Age Range

If anyone out there has been on a singles cruise before, I have a question. Percentage-wise, what proportion of the singles on these cruises are under 30?

Re: Age Range

The age range depends on which ship and which singles cruise. Different agencies attract different ages. If you have a specific ship and date in mind, e-mail me and I will try to help.

What is the average age aboard the radiance of the seas, possibly on an alaskan cruise?

Hi Pat Hagen, names drew and i was wondering if you have a 2004 list of potential cruises that are of the age groups 30s I havnt booked a cruise yet but am looking into it now. iv been on a short one to ensenada, quite awhile back. I had so much fun,i just started to kick in, when we where turning around and heading for home, that was a real bummer. so this time im going single and want the cruise i go on to be a for sure singles cruise and hopefully at least a 50 50 % ratio, my time to sail is pretty flexible anywhere from now to sept 2004 somewhere hot and spicy clothes opp. is ok too, 4 to 8 nights is good as for money im not penny pinching but woukldnt mind a cabin companion if that will help. im not sure if this is the type stuff you do but i would really like it if you can help me or at best steer me in the rite direction so i can meet someone like myself signed--- lonley drew

Re: Re: Re: Age Range

Drew, it is just about impossible to predict what the majority age group will be on a singles cruise. I always say, however, that Carnival's 3 or 4-day cruises, particularly on holidays or a weekend, attract more singles. And Carnival also attracts more singles in your age group than others.

I suggest you check out the Cruisemates Singles Cruise Calendar, and if you see a date you like contact the agency and ask if they can tell you what age range has booked.

Good luck!

Re: Age Range

The average age on a typical singles cruise is 38.6 (psych!)

I went on Radiance of the Seas during a spring break to caribbean and there were very few singles.

But like Pat said, it's impossible to tell. There's no average anything.

You are quite right about not being able to predict the age range on singles groups. Traditionally, singles that have come to us in the past have been late 20's - early 30's. Our singles group this summer is just the opposite, mid-30's to mid-50's! I guess single Baby Boomers are ready for some relaxation and fun!

The best advice is to just ask the person handling the cruise what the age range is for the folks who are booked on the cruise.

Hope this helps!

Just an FYI: The youngest Baby Boomer will turn 40 in 2004.

The Baby Boom generation includes those born in 1946 through 1964.
