Hey Dave, I love the photos of you.... always. You always make me laugh with joy when I see your photos.

I am sure that your secret friend will be taking lots of photos of us cruise-mates on the Oosterdam. I plan to wear a t-shirt that says, "Wanna be my FIRST MATE Tonight".... oh la la. On the back of the t-shirt it will say......
Cruise-critic.com, cruise-mates.com and cruise-addict.com
I am not cruising with VTG because it was cheaper to buy my cruise from another travel agency.
The Oosterdam ship only carries 1800 passengers so it will be real easy to meet the VTG SINGLES too. I already have friends that are cruising with VTG.

What are you going to do AG? Crash the parties? How much was the difference? Just curious. I have never done a singles group cruise but have slways found plenty of them sailing anyway. last cruise there was the Red Hat Society. They were all very mature though.

I was on the Oosterdam to Alaska...wonderful, classy, beautiful...what else can I say.? It IS very easy to meet new friends and then actually SEE them again while on board . If one likes the Spirit class on Carnival, they should like the O-dam since she's a half sister so to speak, built from the same hull blueprints. 8)

Hi Dave, I don't need to crash the VTG private parties because I will be with my own group and we plan to have our own parties under the name of Cruise-critic.com that is well respected by all the cruise lines. Heather has already contacted them so we can have our own party. I have attended a cruise-critic party on the MERCURY ship a few years ago.

The VTG Singles will be wearing their vtg t-shirts and I will just go up to them and greet them as a cruise-mate single when I see them on the ship.

My cousin and I got a great rate of $725. each for a mid-ship, cat.VE, balcony. Vtg wanted $1,000 & up for a balcony. Angel

I enjoyed your pictues as well. Photography is also one of my hobbies and when I go to St. Maarten it always cost me a lot of money.

That is where I usually end up buying new stuff (lol).

Angelgal, The method you use for meeting some of the singles from VTG is what is did on my last cruise. They did all have their name tags and I just introduced myself to them. In some cases they would just think I was part of their group and wasn't wearing the Name tag. Since they had about 300 of them I am sure it was hard to know exactly who was and wasn't part of the group without the tag.

Hey Vince, you are sooo right about the other singles thinking I am part of their group. I don't need to attend their private vtg parties because I will be seeing them around the ship anyway. I talk to everybody on ships. I find a lot of very interesting people to talk with on all my cruises.

Hey Dave, I have given Showcat permission to post my photos from the Costa cruise when we had Toga night. We both looked great in our Togas.
