Seas

We are on Carnival Spirit, Vancouver to Hawaii Sept 21st. How are the seas this time of year in these waters. Have sailed a lot and I realize the seas can change in an instant. Would like to hear some feedback on mainland to Hawaii voyages? We have sailed 9 times and are counting the days to our 10th. Happy cruising to all.

Re: Seas

The straits of juan de Fuca, and outside for 500 miles are rough 24-7..... ecpect large seas, fog and wind. for the foirst day. South of 35 degrees lat you will get good weather

I don't know where those straits are, but yes, just off California you almost always get some high seas, but then it settles down quickly.
