Default Convincing parents?

I am trying to talk my parents into going on the Mariner next October, and so is my friends, and I know my dad would probably say yes, but my mom...well, I don't know. How could I get them to really consider it instead of just being like "Yeah, that would be fun?
Anyways, I am going to be very hyper whenever I think about the possibility.

From the looks of it, you have been on Explorer, same to Mariner.

Find something about Explorer they really liked, and tell them Mariner would be even better. Send them lots of emails about the ship and lure them into looking at pictures. When I really want to go on a cruise I but the he!! out of them until I get an answer. Good Luck

! When I heard my family was going on a cruise in january, I just halfway-stated that maybe we should surprise them by going on it. Little did I know she would say yes! ! (^^)

My suggestion would be to make it as trouble free as possible for them. Go on the internet and get prices, find the best price and print out the page. Then find the best airfare for that time and hotel rooms too. Print out the ports you'll be visiting and the itinerary. Contact a travel agent or online agency and see what they will offer. Find out what the parking will cost at the airport. Get all this information together and then present it to them and tell them, all you have to do is say yes and this travel agent will book it for us and you won't have to do a thing.

Offer to do all the packing and arrange for the pets to be taken care of. You get the idea. Most parents will be more inclined to take a vacation if it's no trouble for them to make all the arrangements.

Regards,
Thomas
