well i kno its pretii exspensive but u can work them down..but i wonder which place does it the tightest so it stays in longer ya kno?...cuz i loveee gettin mi hair braided so when i come bac every1 is like omg lol
first of all i hope that pic isn't HUGE, so sorry if it is. but yeah, that's me (and our monkey) after i got my hair braided in st. maarten. some women did it on the beach. it was awesome, but cost $70! can you believe it?? they really did do an amazing job, they were so tiny it hurt, but it was real expensive. i suggest if you get it done, ask them how much it's going to be before you get it done!
St. Thomas and st.Martin both have it. If you have alot of hair you will have alot of women nagging you to do it. Off the Main street in st.thomas there is a lil Market and alot of people will ask you. In St.Martin alot of people on the main shopping street will ask you. I always get it down on Orient Beach in st.martin. They usually charge 1 or 2 dollars for braids. I always bargin for them to go down.
Hope this helps!
Personally, I don't like braids. EVERYONE ends up having them, and by the end of the trip they are all fuzzy from the small stray hairs. I don't know, it always looks tacky to me (even though I wanted to get them done a couple years ago, after I saw what happend to all the other girls I was happy I didn't) But, if you do want to get them, wear your hair down so that the women will see your long hair, and they will automatically ask if you want braids (trust me, I learned my lesson and I wear my hair in a messy bun so they can't tell how long it is )
I'm with sexybrunette I'm not really a fan of the braids and if you do get them make sure u wear suntan lotion on ur scalp cuz all the girls that got it done on my cruise's scalp was like peeling and it looked like super bad dandriff n noo one wants that! haha just a tip :o) xoxox
