For my summer (western carib.) Mariner Cruise, this is what I have planned so far, If anyone has been to these places and liked the shore excursions let me know, or If you would reccomend something else I'd love to hear about that too.
Also, I dont know if how much im planning to spend is above/below the norm... ??
LABADEE - (may be continued to be re-routed - not planning anything)
GRAND CAYMAN - Atlantis Submarine ($86adt / $44chd)
COZUMEL, MEXICO - Catch the Wave Snorkel Safari - (100-foot luxury vessel, Princesa Maya, and set sail for one of the most spectacular reefs off Cozumel Island) ($45 adt / $31 chd)
In total the shore excursions would be about $168adt / 108 chd, for a total of $372 for the three of us. Is this too much? should we spend more and see as much as we can?
Also, does anyone know what constitues a "child" on RCI? I'm hoping its under 18.
Thanks very much for any imput.
HAL - Oosterdam - May 05
RCI - Mariner of the Seas - August 04

grand cayman id suggest the stingray city tours that was a lot of fun. and cozumel my family and i did a dune buggy excursion...we drove around in our own dune buggies in lik a chain of people on the excursion and we stopped at 3 places...one to snorkel, one to take pictures at a nice spot and then another beach for a mexican lunch--it was a lot of fun

Carnival Victory: April 20th-27th 2003
In Grand Cayman I would deff go to Stingray City. If you book it on the ship it costs a lot...but if you are willing to take a chance on your own you can do it for about $25 a person. Anything you do will be fun tho!
Has anyone ever done the RCI Snorkeling Shore Excurision in Aruba? If you have, did you like it?

In Grand Cayman do Stingray city. Its alot of fun. One year we did the semi-sub, hell, and turtle town. Semi-sub was fun, but Hell and Turtle town was boring to put it nice. Hell was just a tourist trap and turtle town was a commercial turtle farm which sold some of the turtles to resturants for people to eat, which we found out later not on the tour.
