Hey does anyne know how long it takes to get a passport?

It takes about 6 weeks after you turn in the paper work which is a pain in the neck and really expensive. Hope I helped.

Yeah, if you don't fill it out right they send you a letter asking you for the additional info and it's a real pain.

it only took about 3 weeks to get mine in the mail..i know its taken longer than that for other people, though

and it does cost some bucks..

ok because one of my friends who is going with me on the cruise still has not gotten his yet - he hasn't sent for one yet- and i was just wondering if he would have time to get one since a birth certificate and ID would be kind of annoying to keep track of on the cruise. We only have 14 days but he said you can do it online or something or pay extra money so they could send it priority mail i guess.....

ours took a few weeks...you dont ahve to take a birth certificate then right??

STL, when I was going to the Bahamas with my mom she had the same problem. so what she did was go to the passport place and get it done but write down that she had to leave within like 10days and she got it within a week and a half..Your freind better act fast!
