Default off topic question

Hey, i was parked at school today when this lady trys to back into a parking spot next to mine... Well, i hear this big bang and i see my car move, my friend and i go to look and my bumper and my side panel thing is scratched. I got 2 estimates, one thats like 620, and one thats like 750. would i be wrong just to go ahead and give her the more expensive one, in all honesty, i would really want the people at that place doing work on my car. The people at the cheaper place didnt seem as knowlegable. Or should i get a third estimate and give her the middle one. The law in my state says im allowd to pick whatever place i want, and she has to pay. Anyways, please help, what should I do??

Hey,
If you want to change the title of this post you can, not everything has to be about cruises!

I would get a 3rd opinion- if you give her the most expensive one she might feel that you BSed her... What kind of cars are we talking about?

Its a small, 2001 Cougar. Both people said they would have to replace the bumper cover, possibly the bumper filling stuff, repaint the new bumper, sand buff and repaint the rear quarter panel, and clear coat all of that. So i guess thats why it was so much. But its her fault... she can pay. So yeah, its more damage than it seems. It doesnt look that bad.

Her car was an Acura MDX, its like an SUV thing. But i didnt even look at her car, and i dont think she did either. We didnt file it with insurance, so i guess she will just take care of hers on her own, she told me to get an estimate and send her the bill.

Then- I would just give her the more expensive one, have it done the right way and stuff...

Nice car- and MDX's are tight, my friend has one with the navigation and bluetooth thing...

Yea i would go with the more expensive one because you want it done right. Especially if the other place wasnt too good.
