Default Teen FAQ

So I am putting together a new article for Cruisemates.com, and ive got some writers block. What are some frequently asked questions about teen cruising?!

I have some that I have already investigated and answered, but do you have any other "FAQ" you would like me to answer in my next article? Ask away.

What do most 15-17 year olds do on the cruise besides the dance club and meet other people? Is there anything else?

Here are some questions an "average" teen would ask:

How are arcades on cruise ships?

Do i ever get bored?

What outdoor activities are there?

What kind of movies are shown? Are they first run movies or old ones? Do they change the movie daily?

Can I eat anytime? Is there a snack bar type place or do i have to order from a restaurant and wait?

Is there any computer gaming?

Are the arcades super crowded?

What type of organized activities are there on a cruise ship?

hm. well, here are some of the questions i had in mind when going on my first cruise:

1. what is the easiest way to meet people?
2. what areas are especially for teens?
3. what can't teens 18&under do?
4. is there a curfew of sorts for teens?

yeah Ruby mentioned something that i'm interested in too... what are the organized activities that they have on the ships? i am always hearing about them but nobody ever says what they are or how they are, so it would be great if you can include that.

What do you do if the first group you hang around with turns out to be a dud group?

How do you move into a new group of people without looking stuck up?

BTW, I am in Sarasota, too!

Writers block stinks. I've definitely been having it a lot lately.
Anyway, since I'm bringing 2 virgin cruisers with me on the Monarch this summer, these are the questions that they've asked.
Will our cell phones work?

Can you feel the ship move?

Is it hard to meet people?

Can you drink or gamble?

What is there to do for fun?

Does room service cost extra?

What should I wear to dinner?

How much should I pack?

Do I need a passport?

Hope those help.

Where are good places just to hang out.

Do the ship's crew try to break up groups for "loitering"?
