WORST CRUISING MOMENT

Now I no this board tends to focus on the positives of cruising, but Im sure many of you have had the odd bad thing happen on a cruise, even if it is just, your steak came medium rather then rare?

My worst memory would probably be having to talk to like a senior security guy about my friend who was being bullied, and when we had to identify them by there pictures on the computer, it wasnt that bad just a bit surreal for a cruise.

Yep, had an alpha (fire) alarm on Miracle this summer. Scared the crap out of me, it happened at 3am and it was a different alarm then they used in our drills. My roommate and I walked out to our hallway and all the other crew were out there looking around too. Fire is the scariest thing onboard.

Turned out it was just a glitch in the system, but creeped me out nonetheless.

Worst cruise memory would have to be when someone stole my card, took out 500$ in cash advances in the casino and i had to prove it wasnt me who took the money out by watching hours of security footage and then when we found out who did it she denied it! it was defintley the worst and wasted a whole day of my cruise.

My worst cruising moment would probably be when the airline lost our luggage, but told us that they would have it waiting at our next port. This wouldn't have been too bad had we not been at see for the next two days before we arrived at the port. But there wasnt anything we could really do, just had to make the best of it. The cruise was still amazing though. (It would take a lot to make a cruise anything less. lol)

So far i've been pretty lucky as far as accidents and mishaps that might make for a b memory, however, like most, there was that one time. We were onboard the Mariner this past spring and I was taking a walk around the track with a *friend* of mine that i had met and just as a perfect moment was coming up, i noticed someone trying to pull an act from titanic on the railing. It was wet and slippery on the deck and I ran as fast as i could and grabbed the kid off just as he slipped! Scared the crap outta me and i imagine him too. I'm just glad i was walking around that night. Oh and yea guys: saving a life earns you major brownie points with girls!

haha no, one of my sister's suitcases somehow made its way to miami and some of my stuff was in there too so that was good. and my parents always bring extra clothes with them (and now i know why. lol) so it wasnt too bad. but not very convenient trying to track down where your luggage has gone.

hmmm i think my worst cruise moment (well couple of days) was on the Zuiderdam when my flip flops broke and i only brought one pair so i had to wear like dressy formal shoes everywhere until i could get a new pair. i borrowed one of my friends pairs but got blisters from them! and every girl knows that blisters are the worst!!!!

some people might not know trainers are sneakers. i do. cuz im smart like that. and know people from England. and i probably did but theyre a pain to wear to the beach!!!

worst cruise moment on the caribbean princess a year and a half bak first week of summer break the last night of the cruise the guys of our group decided we would jump into the pool from the deck above and one of the kids jarret missed the pool and ended up breaking both of his legs and it was a mess we were up all nite at the like on ship doctor and we had to explain it to his parents, good news is I didnt miss cuz he was in a cast for 10 weeks it must of sucked for him

I need to re-evaluate my worst moment, since we just got back from a 3 night on the M/S Sensation... During the lifeboat drill, which btw started an HOUR LATE a young boy in front of my family and I started looking really sick and then went into convulsions. They ended the drill quickly and got everyone out of the lounge and called for the EMT's or whatever we have on the ships, unfortunatly it is my understanding that he went into cardiac arrest and didnt do well... A vacation ruined his family and him before it ever even started.

Justin's one was pretty bad but kinda a sick funny twist to it, but Dj that story is really sad, on one of my cruises a woman was airlifted by a helicopter to hospital after she fell ill, thankfully we were close to port.

Yea On the Mariner this spring we were delayed getting to Cozumel because someone got very sick and the Coast Guard boarded in the middle of the ocean and airlifted the sick one and took the family in a speedboat.
