Wow, congrats, I'm jealous, I still gotta stay behind and learn how that ship (and ships in general) are designed.

The Constellation does have a state of the art bridge, and an impressive engine room. My college offered a tour of that ship last November. I have pics on my Facebook. From what I saw on the tour, the Constellation is a beautiful ship, in all respects.

Haha Ryan..... Its funny cuz i actually do better in school if i dont go. I missed 6 days in a row and i have the highest average in all my classes (all 95 or above..... well except gym =] that doesnt count in my average) And im gonna miss 8 days for this cruise... haha. I dont have any real classes.....theyre all electives, plus english. I love it.

Lauren.... this was a great deal!!!! $649 a person plus taxes, and then we got $250 onboard credit and a coupon booklet!!!! we only have to get my dad to drive us the 3 hours to Bayonne, and then were flying home. Im paying $1000 for my cruise and flight... less than $100 a day so I win =]

Dudestir (im sorry i dont know your name!!) Wow I cant believe you got to tour this ship!! Thats so cool!! Ive heard that its gorgeous and ill take your word for it too. Let me know when youre designing your own ships =]

Ainsely.... idk about cruising over Halloween!!! I love dressing up and trick-o-treating!!! I had plans with my boyfriend and hes pretty sad that i cant be with him then..... plus not seeing me for over 11 days!! ahhhh!! but ill buy him something and it will be good lol.

Oh and THANK GOD its gonna be mostly old people on this cruise!!! That means no temptations to deal with. Besides crewwwww =]

Ah yay Kris! Have fun =]

I could not even think about going on an 11 day cruise at this time, I'm to concerned with school and applying to colleges!! Plus I'm only allowed to miss 4 days of school a marking period...so if I missed more I would fail, and there are no appeals unless you are sick. Blah it sucks.

And ah you're leaving form Bayonne..thats like 20 minutes from me. At that cruise port its weird because you get to the terminal check in then wait for your number to be called then take a bus to the ship...

Heyyyy Tim =]

Devon, my school isnt strict about missing days. Im not concerned about it at all cuz its mad easy and i make up all my work. I just have to get in one early application to the college i really want to go to before i leave (Bard) and then do the rest when i come back. Theyre due January 1 or 15, depending on the school.
And Bayonne.....ugh. I sailed from there once before (my last X cruise) and we got lost trying to find it!!! And there arent any buses to there!! So hopefully i can convince my dad to drive us down....only like 3 hours haha.

Ainsleyyy =] ahhh Halloween. its just not gonna be the same!!! whatever....ill still party it up haha. idk if im gonna dress up.... maybe something simple like a cat and wear all black. ill think about it haha. and i will be good! no crew (or passengers) for me on this cruise!! Looking only!! Cuz i love my boyfriend to death and could never do that to him!

I know if i apply early to college i have a better chance of getting in.... but thats why im only doing it for my #1 school. I have mad tests to take (SAT, ACT, 3 SAT IIs) and i wont have scores back for forever so i hope college understands haha.

And to get to Bayonne, we were planning to take a bus through the cruise line. We have done that to get to NYC, and i assumed there was one for Bayonne too. BUT NOPE! There isnt! My mom is pissed haha. But my dad is really close to saying yes to driving us.... hes a little mad that he has to stay home.. but i know how to talk to him and get what i want so he WILL be taking us haha.

If your dad doesn't want to drive you, but if you can get an Amtrak to Penn Station, the bottom of Cape Liberty Terminal's website has public transportation options from Manhattan.

Yeah I was looking at that.
All those buses and transfers seem like such a hassle.
I would rather have my dad just drop us off right at the ship haha.
He should.... hes my dad haha.
But thank you =]

Well the tours they take us on are really geared towards my school's US Coast Guard license program, which means they focus more on the Bridge and Engine Room, and less on the passenger areas. The idea is to show firsthand how specifically cruise ships are operated.

Your cruises are soooo soon! I'm totally jealous. Have you started packing yettt?

I'm looking forward to the end of JUNE! Me and my friends are planning a senior cruise instead of going to seaside(sleazeside) for beach week which most of the seniors do. We are looking at Carnival Miracle, Caribbean Princess and Explorer of the Seas! I'm so excited, my choice is deff Explorer of the Seas but its also the most expensive.

Except thats a long time away..and you guys leave at the end of the monthhhh.

Except thats a long time away..and you guys leave at the end of the monthhhh.

ok for starters no i havent started packing which im very TICKED about..haha i usually start packing the month before i leave but my dad wont get the suitcases out of the shed! i need to pack like asap because if not ill end up forgetting something. i had a nightmare last night about leaving my suitcase of all my hair and hygeine stuff at home!!!!! very bad dream..haha. and then cruising for your senior trip is amazing. you should def have a great time. and devon dont you be complaining. when you cruised in august when i freakin started school!!!!!! and now its my turn =D hahaha. but ya know im gonna take tonsssss of pics and have plenty of stories to tell you ALL about =D
