Alaska?

My father has it in his head that he wants to go on an Alaskan cruise, so it sounds pretty definite that we are taking one last cruise together in May. Anyone have any suggestions of places to go or things to see? Another thing I want to know about is the weather. I know its cooler...just wondering if anyone else has been on an Alaskan cruise...

I love Alaska! I went on the Holland Amercica Noordam. It was a 7-day Alaska/Candian itinerary. I wrote an article about it...but for some reason it's not on the website anymore? If you have any specific questions, let me know. (Alaksa is BEAUTIFUL by the way, especially in during the time you'd be going.)

Thanks for your reply. I can't wait to see the sights, I've heard they are pretty breathtaking. I don't know if you have been on any other ships, but I am just wondering about Holland America Ships. I have heard they are little bit more classy then other ships, ie Carnival, and I was just wondering about the dinners and everything. Do you have to get really fancy, like dress fancy? I'm not big on the whole dress up thing. lol.
