Default So how do we feel?

So I was reading a post that a fellow cruisemates member posted on facebook about carnival and royal caribbean leaving passengers behind in san juan. How would you react/feel if that was you stranded on the island? I personally would have a pitched a fit with royal caribbean and carnival at least offered to help. Here are the articles read them for yourself and tell me what you think.

I understand Royal's side that weather is in the contract you sign when you book the cruise and agree to sail, but overall I think Carnival did the right thing. Although they may not have stuck to their policies, it seems they provided great customer service and went above & beyond to make sure everyone was as comfortable as could be provided the situation.

As for being stranded in a port, it wouldn't bother me too much as long as I had a place to stay and some way out eventually (whether it be home or to the ship). When traveling you have to be prepared for any possible situation, and make the best of things as they come at you!
